Overview of the Position: 

Case Management Interns must demonstrate the ability to work with and establish a trusting relationship with clients and community service providers.



  • Participate in community events and activities to contribute to building a stronger nuclear with family

  • Be able to work some weekends.

  • Organize community network events.

  • Provide information, resources, and support to families.

  • Maintain daily progress notes on all activities and interaction.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with community service providers, schools, churches, and community partners to enhance referrals.

  • Facilitate dialogues that encourage community involvement in planning and decision-making.

  • Collaborate with the early childhood developmental programs based on community need to promote positive relationships, support positive child development, and promote family literacy.

  • Accompany clients to and from any of the following:hospital, home, foster care, family court.

  • Assist in maintaining the resource library.

  • Any additional duties as needed.  



  • Attend a 2 or 4-year accredited institution

  • Major in social work or any related field

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish and English)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite and Google drive

  • Strong writing ability
