Changes Are Coming to the Brownsville Multi- Purpose Family Center

On October 11, 2021 Hope and Healing Family Center attended the "International Day Of The Girl Child" at the Brownsville Multi-Service Center. The event was hosted by Congresswomen Yvette D. Clarke, Assemblywoman Latrice M. Walker, and Council Member Alicka Ampry-Samuel. Throughout the event there was an abudance of community members, leaders, local politicians, and activities.


During the event, redevelopment plans for the Brownsville Multi-Service Center were revealed. The upcoming plans consists of a complete renovation of the entire Brownsville Multi-Service Center, with special emphasis on women empowerment. The new facility includes a girl's empowerment center, as well as a overall multi-use space for the community.


Hope and Healing Family Center can't wait to see these plans progress and come to life. Great things are coming to our community and we look forward to witnessing the journey!
